Weatherstripping for windows
Hi all,
I am trying to source weatherstripping for all 4 windows on my 95 4Runner. Is it going to be pretty much impossible to find OEM for this? I am having trouble finding the part #s as well. Im guessing that this may be a junkyard item at this point but I could be wrong.
Would love to hear if anyone knows where to find these.
Thanks

I bought the rear window gasket for my '89 Yota pickup through Toyota online . https://autoparts.toyota.com/ Had my choice of Toyota dealers here in Fresno/Clovis and Madera (20 miles up the highway). Madera was cheapest and I felt like taking a drive anyway. Best use your VIN when searching.

I bought a bunch of OEM weather-stripping, gaskets and door seals last year from Amayama. You need your VIN, Model code and production date. It comes from Japan so now is a bad time to buy with tariffs. Partsouq is another OEM Toyota parts supplier but in the middle east. JAPAN4X4 is another.
I can often get parts from Toyota dealerships AFTER looking up the part numbers myself. None of them have a parts lookup for older trucks like my 86. Not sure if they do for your 95. The parts diagrams at Amayama, Partsouq and TOYODIY are pretty good references even if you don't buy from them.
If you find the correct part numbers, you can often find them listed on eBay. You have to be careful of counterfeit parts so check feedback. Some of the aftermarket Toyota parts out of Thailand are reported to be much better quality than from China. Like window and door seals.
Good luck and please follow up with how it goes.

I use this site for looking up part #s. I selected a '95 4Runner w/3RZFE. Click the boxes to change year/model/frame/char. On the parts diagrams click on the 5 digit # and you'll get the toyota 10 digit part # to use for ordering. If you order online at a toyota dealership, the price is a lot less than if you call in to order.

Hi! I had to fix the weatherstripping on my truck too. Cleaning the old glue made a big difference before I added the new strip. It reminds me of how sites like Play Chicken Road Casino keep things smooth by staying organized and updated. Make sure the seal is tight all around, and press firmly along the edges. Once it’s done, your windows should stay dry and quiet again.

one route to explore
Hi. When I'm looking for parts, first stop is https://toyota-usa.epc-data.com/4runner. The website takes some getting used to, but there's a lot of good info there. You'll need the 'complecation' code from your car's data plate -- that'll get you to the correct page for your particular vehicle. Then you can hunt through the images and get the actual part numbers. And THEN when you click on the part, you can order them right there through Amayama. (Some parts are no longer available.) I have bought numerous parts from them that way, and they were excellent, all genuine OEM in Toyota packaging, and very reasonably priced. BUT, because of the tariffs recently put through by the lunatic-in-chief, the final price is now very high. The import duties cost more than the parts. Nevertheless, you'll have the part numbers, and with those you can hunt around sites like Toyota Parts Now, and others. Good luck.
