Water Pump/Timing Belt Tensioner
'92 Pickup 3VZE
I've had the dreaded Knock Sensor issue for a while, so i finally decided to take the initiative to replace the thing, and several other things along the way. The current problem i have with the new water pump and timing tensionor pulley. The new parts did not come with the little thing to connect them together and although I'm wondering if there's somewhere to buy that or what to do there.

What little thing to connect them together?
The pin to mount the tensioner to the pump housing? Is that what you mean? Take the pin out of the old one, put it in the new one. Knock it out with a hammer and a brass drift pin. If you can't find a way to press it out.

Yes the Pin, and I tried getting it out, it didn't want to move so i wasn't entirely sure it was removable, lol. I had to quit messing with it to come to work, but i'll get back on it when i get home in the morning. Thanks

If you have to, you can cut it out. Cutting wheel or hacksaw. Be careful not to mess it up. It shouldn't be to hard too bang it into the other one. Throw it, the pin, in the freezer for a while first before you install it. It should slide right in there fairly easily if you get it cold enough.
