W55-W56 Trans mount
Hey guys,
Im about 85% finished with my clutch install and just finishing up the loose ends and i've noticed the transmission crossmember mount (the one with the two rubber bushings) is missing one of the rubber bushings.
Rockauto seems to have the best price for it, but its listed as a DEA part made for a W46 and W55 transmissions. Will this also work for a W56 Transmission?
The pickup in question is a '94 Reg Cab 4WD 22RE 5 Spd. W56 Trans.

W46 and W55 are typically 2WD pickup transmissions, and the mounts are different, but I checked rockauto and the picture looks like a 4x4 mount. They also list the same part for a 1994 4Runner. I am not sure if the mount varies between types of 4x4 transmissions, but I think there is a difference between R and W mounts. You should be able to return it if it does not fit, but you might lose some shipping costs. You might try calling or e-mailing them to see if they can clear it up. I am thinking the part is just listed for the wrong transmission.

Thanks. I ended up ordering through Amazon. With the drop down filters for my truck ('94/4WD/4Cyl./5-speed), it came up as DEA A6270. There wasn't a listing for this part on Rockauto, but it was cheaper on Amazon. It'll be here today so hopefully its the right one.
