i have a 94 4runner 3.0 v6... the middle/red vsv nipple broke off and its creating a slightly high idle. i just noticed it today and it doesnt seem to cause any problems while im driving, just the high idle. will blocking off the hose from the plenum cause any problems or is it a MUST to keep the vsv working all the time. also, are the green vsv and red vsv compatible cause i do have an extra green one.

 

i was told that the colors mean different temps.
