I have a 94 sr5 v6 4-wheel drive 4Runner. I started hearing a buzzing vibration come from the gear selection area in the center console. I found that when I nudge my 4wd selector forward the vibration stops. Is this something serious?

 

I doubt it, not 100% sure tho, hopefully someone elso who has experienced that chimes in

shifters shake its normal not unless its causing drivability issues....

 

I just hate rattles and this one was bugging me. Is there any way to stop it?

 

It may be loose at the trans. Possibly the 4 bolts holding it down are loose? You could take the console out and the boot off and see.....
