Valve Cover Baffle?
When I cleaned the inside of my valve cover some small parts of the oil baffle gasket flushed out.
Looking through the Engnbldr gasket kit, I noticed there's one for the baffle. I'm considering taking it off to clean behind it and replace the gasket. Mine is riveted on.
How difficult are these rivets to contend with? Grinding the outer mushrooms off should allow the baffle to come off, but what about removing the other end of the rivets from the cover? Is that a pain? For reattaching, do people generally use new rivets (any special kind?) or tap the holes and use bolts?

I have also boiled valve covers in a diluted mixture of Simple Green. I use my turkey fryer to do it. Cleans out behind those baffles without having to remove them.
This is with aluminum valve covers, not plastic.
