vacuum sound

vacuum sound
i'm having trouble solving his problem can you offer advice? the problem is when I press the brake peddle I heard the vacuum sound / air loss sound? the engine gets very little rough idle...once I let go of the brake the sound stops & engine smooths out...
it is a recent rebuild 22r with a carb...i can not find a vacuum leak any where....
