vacuum leak, and idle up valve half missing ??
So, i just thought about it, and i am missing the screw and spring on my idle up valve, and no, i don't know what happened to it, i just thought about it as i saw another thread about some ones PS, but would that effect anything??? minus all of its functionality?. Also, i have a vaccuum leak, its seems to be coming from some where in the middle of the intake, i've checked over the lines but i couldn't find anything. I sprayed brake clean around and i thought ??? when i sprayed it on the intake gasket it idled down a little, but maybe it was just coincidence/me being over sensitive. On that, why i am confused if because i just went through the engine about 6,000 or so miles ago, and new gaskets everywhere. So it just seems weird to me that the intake gasket went out. So is there any sure way to check, or any common leak areas?? thanks.

the white bolt/screw and spring are gone, just for reference.

Hmm, after a crap ton of searching, i think it might be my PCV valve, didn't realize a bad pcv valve could cause a vacuum leak. Also, any word on the idle up valve? PCV valve seems to work fine, so i have no idea, any one got anything ?
