vaccuum leak/fuel delivery problems
i have a 90 22R-E pickup and i recently replaced the motor, since the trucks been out of the shop its had a check engine light for the TPS. I fixed the tps and got the light to go off but the truck still feels like its missing and like its starved for fuel. i replaced the fuel filter today and checked the fuel pump and both are fine. i was wondering if i could have a vaccuum leak causing this surge or am wondering if antone else has had the same problem? any help would be greatly apprichiated.
Thank you

How did it run before the new engine? Did you have similar problems. Did you check the fuel pressure under load( in actual use) and volume. You said "feels" like its missing and starved for fuel. What is it actually doing?

I had a similar issue with my carb'd truck and it turned out to be crappy E3 plugs I used. Took those out and put my trusted NGK copper v-power's and problem went away.
Like razed said, plug gaps can cause issues like that. I would pull them out and see what they look like. Even if they are new. With the TPS being bad at one point, it can foul the plugs causing then not to fire correctly.
