V-6 Identification

Hey everyone. I don't post here much but I have posted a few times. I recently picked up a toyota v-6 but I have no idea exactly which one it is. Its stamped 1988 on the block. I wanted to build it up andn swap it in for the 4 cyl thats currently in my truck how do i found out which block I have. All that I have right now is the block....... with some pistons rusted into it. If anyone has any ideas on how to tell let me know thanks in advance

The easiest way to identify the engine is to send me a picture of it. Off the top of my head though, it could only be a 2VZ or 3VZ, these are the only engines used in 1988.......and Toyota doesn't make a 2.0L V6 that they import to the US. The VZ engine was a 2.0L V6 that was used in Japan, but never imported and used on Toyotas here in the States.
