Used Engine

Well the 3.0l in my 89 is locked up. I have been searching and I foumd a guy that has one out of a 94 for $700. I don't know if its the original motor or not so I cant say what the milage is. What I was wonderimg anout is should I get a new oil and water pump for it. Im gonna get new headgaskeys and head bolts. Also im gonna replace the rear main seal. What would you guys do.

You can check the vin number on the block and the cab, if they match, its original. Also know that because of the year difference, some things might be different, such as electrical plugs, exhaust manifolds, etc.

If the manifolds dont work ill prolly just get headers. Ive read that the stock manifold crossover causes the #6 cylinder to heat up and blow the head gasket
