I found a IFS front diff on craigslist with 5.29 and a lockrite. I called and he said it was out of his 86 4 runner. Will this diff fit in my 95? Is there anything I should look out for when buying if I do buy? Oh yeah... I need to call him back and see if its 4 or 6cyl. My 95 is 6cyl. thanks for the help!

 

It should fit just fine since the IFS didn't change till '96 and I'm almost positive that it doesn't matter for the front diff whether it's V6 or 4cyl. One thing to check for is if it's ADD or not, if it is then while you have it out you should permanently disable it since you have manual hubs, search 4x4wire for a good write up on how to do this. If it's not ADD then it shouldn't matter
