Trucks just losing battery power

Trucks just losing battery power
So for context I have an old winch on this truck and the box is messed up so that could be the problem. It’s a 2.4L 93 Toyota pickup. It’s been fine and I’ve been mudding within the last month and it’s been on the inside of the hood. I rinsed off the hood on the inside the other day and it ran okay that night ( a little side not I was driving the night I cleaned it and it died randomly and then the lights came back on and there was no engine power till I turned the car back on). Then the next day I go to a competition and it drives fine there and when I go to start it to go home there’s no power and the battery is dead. No lights or switches were on. I don’t know what’s happening. I jumped the car that day and it ran fine and it was fine all night. I take it for a date turn it off for dinner and it turns on no problem after the date. Then the next morning I move it out of the driveway and it’s fine then I go to bring it in and it won’t turn on and all power is gone. Then I go to jump start it with my mom’s focus and it won’t charge the battery. So I don’t know if it’s a battery issue or a truck issue or the focus just couldn’t jump the battery. Would love anyone’s input so I can try to trouble shoot it as needed.

Have you check for parasitic drain on the battery? YouTube has plenty of how to videos. Easy to do with a cheapo multi-meter.
If you do have a drain, then I'd start to isolate it by 1st disconnecting that winch.
If no drain, how old is the battery?
Are the terminals clean?
You can buy a battery tester that will show how many amps it is outputting and if the battery is good for cheap on Amazon
I got one as my battery was charged to 12.7 volts, but it was only outputting 275 amps out of 650 and tested dead.
New battery fixed all the intermittent starting issues
There are way better people than me in here who know a lot about electrical so hope they respond.
Good luck

sounds like you have a connection problem.. remove the battery and clean, check all terminals and grounds. the next thing id start checking, as mentioend above, is alternator output and battery load. after that, id look in the passenger kickpanel and see if mud got in there..
