truck wont start!! help!

i would check the ign + wire that runs to the starter from the ignition switch (the small wire attached to the starter). i have seen them corrode and slowly loose the ability to make continuity to the starter solenoid to start the cranking.

use some jumper cables for extra groundins contacts... you would be supprised..
pull the starter and take it apart those starter are verry simple to rebuild and diagnose...
you need to put a multimeter on your soleniod wire on starter ans see if your are get 12vdc to the starter solenoid wire.. if not. BACK track to the starter relay and the ignition switch..

Mine did the same thing on my 87 yota.
Its the starter.
Might as well bite the bullet and get a new one.
Did you have a warranty on the old starter? It should still be under warranty, and that means FREE!
