truck runs great.But

HEY Guys,

I mostly just browse and search too get my answers anyway. yes i searched for my problem, but didn't see anything like it.

Anyway, My truck is a 1994 toy 4x4 with a 22re all stock!! Yes you read that right "ALL STOCK" .

Thing is truck starts and runs Awesome. When I run the truck and turn my heater on the truck just completely dies. When I restart it, it starts right up ,but acts if it is flooded then comes into and runs and drives fine around the yard untill I put the heat on or any type of load on the electrical system. I can rev the motor and hold rpms at 4000 and turn heater and she just dies right out like it's not getting fuel.

I have replaced the alternator with a used one a couple weeks ago because I f'd up the old one by trying to drill out a broken bolt while I was replacing my alt belt . I have checked all connections and all are tight.

I think it could be the alternator? I got the used one from TAP on ebay. I should of checked it first before putting in truck. {What a pisser}Thing is truck is not on the road yet. trying to get it on the road!! I ordered some brushes and will start from scratch again i guess?

Anybody ever have a problem like this before or heard of something like this?

thanks for the help,
Eric

Update, well today I filled up the radiator cause it was low. Started truck and

I recently just put in used alternator and new battery. i have checked all cables and all is tight. the truck is at my work because I am working on it here and there during my lunches. Truck is currently not inspected so I can't drive it on the road.

I think I have a bad alternator. prob just order some new brushes and try that
