sure you got all the flex plate bolts etc off and all 4 main bolts, the starter is off etc ...
I have had to attach a small come-a-long to pull a tight trans off

What transmission Manual or auto ??

Auto the torque converter needs unbolted

If a manual spray with the penetrating oil of your choice they do tend to get hung up on the pins

Now that it is out of the vehicle it will be harder .

Get a helper so you can both pry at once rather then just one side and getting it twisted putting on more pressure

Reminds me of when I was dropping the 5-spd on my '88. It just wouldn't separate more than a fraction of an inch, so I kept pulling and yanking and wiggling. Then I realized that I'd put the nut back of the stud for the starter so I wouldn't lose it, and forgot it was there. I'd been pulling against that dust cover the whole time. lol

I ended up going to a transmission shop, to attempt to separate the engine from the transmission. I was told it would have been much easier had I kept it in the truck because they both wouldn't be moving at the same time while pulling one from the other. Get to find out it was the push out bearing being stuck.Due to lack of grease or it sitting for such a long time. It took lots of prying with the longest an biggest pry bar I've ever seen. But it happened. Thanks for the response.
