Transmission question?
How do I tell which transmission I have? 1994 pickup 4x4 22re manual. I am going to buy a new shifter seat and don't know which transmission it is. Thanks

I read that there are two different types of trannys for my model and only one is a W56. Are you saying it is the only transmission available that year?

W56 is the common one. If I'm not mistaken the G series trannys weren't installed with fuel injection. I have a V6 so I could be totally wrong on that one. BTW - R series trannys were behind the 22 ret and V6.
