Transmission question

So today I just bought a 5 speed transmission for my conversion, switching my auto to the 5 speed transmission, and I got a few question. Sorry I cannot check the FSM at this time because I don't have acrobat install in my computer so it won't let me view the page.

1.) Picture one, what is this go to? Was thinking a temp. sensor.

2.) Is this the speed sensor? If it is not where can I locate it.

3.) Forgot to ask the guy that will the V6 toyota pickup will bolt in to the toyota 4runner, so will it bolt in perfect?

Its wierd that it only have 2 electrical connectors on this transmission, out from 1989 4x4 V6 5 speed. Does it mean that I also need the 1989 wire harness and the M/T ECU? right now I got the 1992 wire harness + the A/T ECU. Someone said to me that I can still use mine and the same A/T ECU but I have to wait until I get it in to see, I want to be ahead of time =) ask first or to 100% correct that it will work. So if it won't work will someone that has the same year model ( 1989 toyota 4x4 pickup, 5 speed ) can give me there part number to the wire harness and ECU? Thanks in advance.

Im pretty sure in 92 the speedometer is electric as oppsed to the pre 92s being cable. Id imagine youd have to get the guage cluster from a pre 92.
I think those pics are the ADD and reverse lights. Is there a round hole with threads on the pass side of the tcase? If so thats for your speedo cable.

Holy dirty tranny batman. In your pic # 2 you can see the speed sensor hole on the passinger side of the transfer case. I think what you have boxed is the 4wd indicator switch. Here's a pic of the speed sensor location on my old A340H:

The first pic is the back-up/reverse light switch.

Second pic is 4wd indicator light switch.

Looks like my R150/VF1A transmission/transfer case combo, an 88. Could be an R151/VF2A, or other combo for all I know though. I'll try to check those #'s for ya.

Thanks alot I notice that it was the speed sensor at its place, was too dirty to notice it was the speed sensor, and tought that it was the cooler. It seem a bit diffrent from my speed sensor but I know for a fact that my auto speed sensor should bolt in. Yes the darn thing is very dirty and rusty, when I first seen it I tought to myself that I would not buy it but the guy seem pretty cool and give me a good deal with all the parts that I need for the conversion so I did took it, but just today I just clean it, you should see it now, all alumunum look now and I have clean all the rusty parts w/ prematex rust destroyer, and later on I will spray those rust proof paint on it to last a long time w/o rust creeping on to it. Was preparing for the work but I having hard time unscrewing those bolts on the draveshat and the driveshaft to the front differrential, maybe the darn previouse mechanism lock-tite them, scare that I will wear them bolts I stop it for the day so maybe in the coming days I will get myself a cutter and cut them instead, and yet the last, my head gasket seem to leak now, cause I can see antifreeze visible on the floor same place were I last replace the HG, so it could be those cheap after market HG I got it from so the next one would be at the dealer. Thanks to all that replies thanks a bunch.
