transmission pan question

transmission pan question

i cant get the pan down all the way do i need to remove the sway bar to get it out? or am i missing something? i doesent seen to want to slide either way because something inside the tranny is blocking it

Yeah if you don't have a suspension lift you would need to take the sway bar off. What's hanging down is the ATF filter/pickup.

My 94 was easy just drain it and take out the bolts. No issues with a sway bar its no where near my tranny pan. Make sure you clean the magnets in the pan, if there are none get some they can save you some headaches. also get the good gasket no cork.

Ya you have a t-100 i have a pickup. my sway bar is about 2 inches below the pan. Im just gonna take it off another day. the bolts for it are VERY seized on
