transmission input shaft seal replacement

While the engine is out of the engine bay, giving me more room to work with replacing the transmission input shaft seal replacement, I can't seem to find how to go about replacing the input shift seal. I looked pretty much everywhere to find step by step procedures in removal and replacing the transmission input shaft seal with pictures and/or diagrams. What proper tools are needed to remove the seal? Anyone out there can point me to right direction and/feedback/comments/advice on this issue?

I did this last summer and iirc, I just pulled the cast iron housing cover off (you'll need to replace it's paper gasket or Toyota red fipg). Then I took a big socket from my rarely-used sae set and tapped out the old seal. Or I might've pried it out with a screwdriver, don't remember now. New one gets gently tapped in with an appropriately-sized socket. Don't grease the outside of it, only it's inside sealing surface.
