Transmission cooler question
I recently came across a 95 toyota 4runner. It was automatic and had a transmission cooler. Long story short the 4runner was a piece of ****. Nothing... worked and so i parted it out to make up my loss and get a few extras for my pickup.
Anyway, it had a brand new transmission cooler. Assuming i clean it up well and such could i possibly fit it to my pickup. It's an 89 4x4 3.0 manual pickup. I tow a lot of vehicles and because of that i have to replace my oil every 10,000 miles. It sounds excessive but it burns gear oil when i'm hauling a pickup 100 miles lol. So would it work if i put that on my pickup?

You're not burning the oil - it's leaking somewhere.
Are you using GL4 75W90 for the transmission?
If towing was going to cause you to "burn" transmission oil that frequently then how about your diffs?
