transmission conversion
The truck is a 1986 Toyota 22RE-Turbo with the A340F automatic transmission and VF2A chain drive transfercase and 4wheel drive. I would like to make it a manual, what manual transmissions with geardriven transfercases will bolt up to the turbo 22RE if any? any tips/advice on the conversion?

I believe any manual transmission thats bolted to a 22re will work. The manual transmission that came in the pickups with factory turbo is your best bet though although they are quite difficult to find

I believe the turbo equipped models came with the R series manual transmissions. IIRC, the 2WDs use the R150, and the 4WDs use the R151. The non-turbo 4 cylinders usually ran a W series manual transmission (and I think sometimes a G series?). The R series is stronger, which is why they ran them in the turbo and V6 models.
The problem you will likely run into with trying to bolt up an R series to your motor, is the bell housing. The transmissions are easy to find, but the bell housing can be a different story, unless you find one out of a turbo truck.
I'm not at all experienced enough to know which ones came with the geardriven transfers though. Seems like I remember reading that the W series use a geardriven transfer, while the R series is chaindriven, but I really don't know. That seems kind of counter-intuitive, to put the chain drive on a stronger transmission, and vice-versa.
