Transmission

Hi All
I have a 92 T4R 4WD 3.0 V6 Auto.
It seems to be taking a lot longer for the transmission to warm up (ten minutes longer) and shift to the higher gears. Even though the outside temp stays 75-92.
Could the engine temp sensor be causing this?
I have been having cold start problems for a few months.
But the transmission problem just started this week.
It had a atf drain and fill about 6 weeks ago.

Thanks for your help!

engine temp sensor likely has little to do with this in a car with basically an archaic computer management system.

was your drain/fill just a pan drop or was it a full flush?

have the same problem with my A340H (same transmission you have) behind my 3.4

fluids fine. but it takes 2-5 min for the tranny to shift up. until then you drive wrapped out. im thinking its a solenoid issue but im not sure my tranny has 300+k on it

Atf was just a drain and fill.
It was working fine with the normal delay waiting for the temp to come up.
This week it takes much longer.
