Tranfer case pivot linkage care & feeding?

Tranfer case pivot linkage care & feeding?
My 86 4x4 pickup automatic has this shift linkage setup. The rubber cover-bushing is missing.
Follow url below for picture. The bushing is the vertical black rubber cylinder below the tranny driveshaft flange. What is it's care and feeding instructions. What's the rubber bushing called? Where do I get one? Thanks,
