So I tried searchi g but only found stuff pertaining to swapping the throttle bodies. My tps crapped out on me on my 94 3vze and I have a tps from a 88 that test ok. Anybody know if I change the plug will my ecu have any problems with the older tps? I dont wanna spend the money on a new if my spare will work.

 

Ok. I was hesitant at first cause I didnt want to chop my tps plug, but screw it. Swapped over the 88 tb and wired in the matching plug. Voila, it works! Idles so much better and the hesitation is gone. Obviously there is no real reason to do this other than the fact that I had a good tps laying around. It is nice to know that the ecu isnt having problems reading the older style tps. Ill see how it does during my 50 mile trip to work tomorrow.
