ok So I bought my truck second hand few years back it's had issues since I bought it .Im slowly working thru some

I have messed with the tps and put new on it

I thought mybe I would try a different throttle body so I went looking on net
I find a guy that has one I have him send pics of it
and the tps plug area is facing the intake air boot

mine has faced the plenum since I got it
makes me wonder if mine is bacwards

 

need more info... what engine do you have?

if it's the 22re, the tps connector faces the radiator, pointing away from the plenum.

 

3VZE faces towards the cab.

Why are you replacing the throttle body? It's just a piece of metal, it doesn't go "bad".
