My 3.0 used to do that when I was pulling the hill to get home at highway speeds. Got home one night and opened the hood with it running. Man it sure was pretty watching all the blue sparks jump off of the plug wires when I revved it.
Speaking of that, have you done an ignition tune up yet? Cap, rotor, plugs, and wires?

yes I also got mine going because I didnt think it was plug wires now no stumble or miss / thanks to all the info and trouble shooting on this site . Thanks

Forgot about it until now, but I remember having a similar issue a long time ago after installing an MSD ignition module with a 50,000v coil. I remember touching the AFM while the truck was running and getting a 50 thousand volt arm massage. Numb to the shoulder for an hour lol.
