Toyota Axle Swap on Mazda B2200

Sick of the terrible aftermarket support for mazda so I'm planning on swapping in a rear end from a 86-95 truck/4runner and throwing in a locker. trying to gather some info to make sure everything will work.

I'd like to come out with an axle that is spring under, 6 lug, with the toyota 8" diff.

Looking for the distance between the (toyota) rear leaf perches center to center.

From what I've gathered:
All 4x4s are SOA, 2wd is spring under
4x4s are 6 lug on 5.5
2wd are 5 lug

So does this mean I'm gonna have to grind off and weld on new leaf perches underneath a 4x4 axle to stay with 6 lug?

The v6 2wd axle sounds like a potential as it has the 8" diff but its 5 lug, are there 6 lug conversion kits available?

Depending on the axle length, 4wd vs 2wd, why not use the 2wd axle housing with 4wd axle shafts?

You'll probably have to weld new perches on since the angle and mount width working in your Mazda is doubtful to begin with. Just grab a 4x4 axle and do the swap.

Spring over is gonna give me more lift than my ifs front can handle as far as I can tell. Isn't it usually around 4 - 5"?
