To touch up paint on truck & use aerosal clear coat
So, does anyone have experience doing body paint touch ups?? I already put paint on all the small dings with a small brush...I expect to lightly sand all then put on clear coat, then maybe use treatment that becomes ONE with the paint like glass...I also have a strip 2ft long by 3" the bodyshop messed up - it's all cracked down to the primer like a dried up desert......... he's out of business.... I can't afford more professional help now...Anyone ever mess with doing this themselves and have any guidelines from personal experience?? PLEASE? I know everyone says don't do it myself BUT I feel I can...Also although this isn't an RV forum anyone with experience with the Fiberglass box thats worn down to fibers beginning to be exposed??? Thanks for any & evenif you tell me "I'm an idiot" advice....I have an 86 22RE Dolphin RV

im intrested in the paint part.
fiberglass box? =cabover camper shell?
glassing requires some cloth, resin (w/ a cataylst), 100 - 400 grit sandpaper and elbow grease. grinding tools (dremel?) will help over the large areas that are being repaired. some paints can be integrated into the resin (depends on the type of resin & color matching is tricky) or just paint over it. HTH.
