Ya it is currently, axle over spring is a bit better for high speed stuff tho.

Definitely check out FOA coilovers they're a really manageable price. The advantages of coilovers over t-bars are rather a lot.

ha ha, I thought you were saying you needed to go spring over axle, not axle over spring. I understand now, sorry.

I'm so planning on the TC Gen 2 kit. Hit a bit of a speed bump in my savings plan with the turn the economy has taken as of late but am more or less convinced that it's the way that I'll go. Still a little unsure on what I'm going to do about my rear though, I'm curious about the possibility of swapping in a T100 or Tundra rear to match the front track width of the TC kit with the T100 CV's. Better yet, a Tundra rear with discs and a locker. Is this doable?

Good job! Looks great. Do you think your TC-LT kit was a lot less involved than a SAS??

It is somewhat less involved there is a bit of welding necessary, shock hoops and droop stops, but yes I would say it's a bit easier than an SAS if only because you don't have to cut off the IFS bracketry. I fabbed my own shock hoops and IFS truss which made it a bit more complicated, but you can buy those parts from Total Chaos if you've got the extra coin.

Reviving this one from the dead rather than starting a new thread...

I've been looking around for 'chaos LT installs with dual rate setups, and this is one of the only ones I've found after searching multiple boards, instead of the usual 8" shock with a 450-600lb x 16-18" single rate spring.

I was curious what spring rates you're running with your FOAs, and how do you like the ride? Would you go stiffer or softer if you did it again? I know this setup is far superior to stock for big hits, but how do you think it compares on small stuff/chop - just as plush?

And finally, what valving did you order your shocks with?

Thanks in advance, and nice looking setup.

Old thread but I would really like to hear an answer to Phil J's interesting questions.
