You have to pull the crack pulley off the change the front seal

Crack pulley? Like to pull an a$$ seal?

Just did mine on a 92 22re. When I put the cover back on under the head (didn't pull the head). I used a piece of .005 spring steel (phosphorus bronze for duck call reeds), I put it between the new cover and the head when I put the cover on. This kept from screwing up the head gasket. Put a couple of bolts in the cover loosely, then pull the bronze out. Worked well. Thought I would pass it on.
