Thermostat question for gurus of TOyota

Guys,
I had a problem with overcooking so I changed t-stat, now my idle went down by about 100 RPM is that normal. Thanks for all your help.

Make sure you have your cooling system burped properly. Air in your cooling system can change your idle as well as causing overheating. I don't think resetting your ecu will have any effect on it

I thought about it.

I dont think its possible to get a air bubble in this engine. Maybe I'm mistaken but anybody ever got air bubble in this engine?

Sure it is. Do you know in how many passages your coolant needs to flow? Its very easy to have air trapped in your motor. Happens all the time if you don't burp it right

It worked!!!!!!

Mr. Tortis, you were right about ECU I reset it and it all back to normal. Thank you very much. There are no community like YOTA community.
