Is there an Idle Increase solinoid?

Wondering if the 22re is equipped with some sort of idle increase solinoid when an electrical load is placed on the motor? Just noticing that i will get a bit rougher idle when i have my headlights on in the AM and a noticeable lower idle when i lower the tailgate window but keep my finger on the down button even though it is all the way down.

No, thats normal for an older yota. Theres an idle up valve if you have AC, but thats about it.

You could do the "big 3" upgrade, upgrade your ground and power cables to 4 or 2 gauge.

Do a search, theres a lot of info about it.

Your idle might be too low to begin with.

You could try and adjust it up.

I got the wires already upgraded. I did up the idle a bit, it was pretty bad at times before, i jsut noticed that when i add power, it goes down, doesnt stall. I actually added a bit of RTV to hold the screw in place since it seemed to be a bit loose. It really jsut seems to be a problem when the engine is warmed up. Drives fine but it had the rough idle. Just curious bout an idle solinoid for that. I knew there was an AC one. But i will keep searching.

Thanks!!
