Taurus Fan Question

I have looked up a few write-ups on the taurus fan swap into my truck. I was wondering if yall think it would be better to have the thermostat or just a switch and watch the temperature. Most of the aftermarket e-fans you buy come with or have the option for a thermo to come with it so I'm thinking that this would be the best way to run this setup, but ........

How much extra do they cost and how hard to install ?

How are you going to watch the temp? I hope it's not the stock temp gauge, because by the time those read hot you're already way too hot.

Get an automatic controller set-up of some kind.

DCC makes some of the best controllers around: http://www.dccontrol.com/index.htm Very easy to install, no need for relays, complete kit with excellent instructions, and good tech support.
