taking off front rotors on 4x4
How do I take off the rotors on my 1994 4x4 truck? The one on the right side is in bad shape, It has a crack in it. I have replaced the brake pads on the left and it looked good, when I pulled off the wheel on the Rt it was bad, got to get the rotor off and get another one, Thanks for the help, Sue

Follow these instructions to remove the hub, and after you get it off you'll find 6 bolts at the back which need to be removed to seperate the rotor from the hub. They'll be very tight, when I did mine I put the hub into a wheel lying on the ground, stood on it and used a 24" breaker bar.

It's a big job, and you'll want to at least repack the wheel bearings, or replace them if they're worn.

will a 1988 4x4 rotor work on my 1994 truck. I got the rotor off today and a guy down the road has a 1988 4x4 wrecked truck that I can get the rotors for a song, If not what number do I order from LCE. I have a 1994 extend cab 4x4 with manual locking hubs. I don't think it is a Tomcma
