tach wire?

ok i installed a remote start in my 1995 toyota pickup 4wd 22re manual. i need to splice into the tach wire but am unsure of where it is located and what color it is? thanks in advance!

I believe it's the IG terminal in the same connector in the engine compartment that you access when setting your timing.

Will going to the negative terminal on the coil work? That's where I get the signal for my aftermarket tach.

Aren't tach's usually a blue wire?
