A/T oil temp light flicker?
Anyone ever have any issues like this? I was sitting in the drive thru this morning for about ten mins in drive with my foot on the brake, finally got my food but it seemed like I smelled a burning smell but it could be gear oil burning off my exhaust from a leaky rear pinion seal, anyhow when I got back on the road my A/T oil temp light flickered for all of about 30 seconds and then shut off and didn't come back on. I let the truck run when I parked it for another 10 and nothing, didn't see any leaks, my trans fluid level is fine... anything I should be looking out for here? Trans is brand new maybe 10k on it

When you had the new transmission put in did they clean the cooler? When an auto transmission fails, it leaves bits of clutch material in the fluid. This material finds its way into the cooler and will restrict flow as well as contaminate your new transmission.
An auto transmission builds most of its heat from the engagement of clutches and friction through the torque converter. Therefore, the run hottest in stop and go traffic and trailer pulling. They tend to run a lot cooler on the highway because the clutches are constantly engaged and the converter is locked.
