I was wondering if anyone knows anything good or bad about a superwinch. I have a line on one for 200 bucks that was only used twice then rebuilt and has not been used since. All it is missing is the fairlead. Good price? I have not herd of them so I was just wondering. Thanks Bill

I wonder however, what was wrong with it that it had to be rebuilt after only using it twice...

 

A semi driver bought it to pull skids to the front of his truck and he thought it was running slow and something was wrong with it. He sent it to superwinch and they went through it and said that everything was ok. They also said it was not going to pull it any faster for him. But for 200 bucks a 9000 lb winch I thought was a good deal.

 

I would tear off my fingernails for a deal that good. Get it.

 

I have a 9000lb one on my heep and it's worked fine for about 5-6 years. one broken cable but no problems otherwise

 

Well I thank you for all your input. Ill keep my fingernails but get the winch
