Does anybody know where I can find the directions to replace the cables on the sunroof? I hear the motor running just fine, but the sunroof does not open. So, I am sassuming the cables need replacing. The sunroof is cracked as well, so I will need to replace that while I am at it..... I have looked thru the forums, but did not find any specific info.

 

Did you ever find the information you needed for this. I just got a 91 4runner with the same problem. Motor is turning, but window does not. And mine is stuck slightly open, so that when it rains water leaks in. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Reviving the old...

Per following the instructions, who has done this with success? Just found cracks in mine today. Is there any little nuance that I should be aware of before tackling this? It is not leaking at this time, I just need to know how much of a weekend I should set aside to devote to this.
