stripped distributor bolt

stripped distributor bolt

Hello again, Anyone have advice on a stripped distributor bolt hole in head.
Its the 12mm hold down bolt hole for distributor. Got bolt out, hole too stripped to hold. thanks.

Use the thread replacement of your choice .

It is the same size as the thermostat housing M8x 1.25

A good size for these vehicles.

You want to make sure to use the proper size drill bit.

Sometimes the kits come with them some times they don`t.

only drill as deep as you need to .

make sure to use the correct length bolt.

take your time you will be ok

Never seize on any bolts going in aluminum
