Still a hard time shifting

I posted a little while ago about having a hard time shifting into 1st and 2nd. Originally I had to put a good deal of force onto the shift stick to put it into gear, it almost felt as if I had to break through resistance to get it to go into gear. I was advised to replace gear oil, which I did with the correct redline gear oil. Immediately shifting felt MUCH smoother. Now 2 weeks later, I woke up yesterday to drive to class and it's harder to put into gear now than it was before. Especially at a stop. If I'm rolling a little bit, putting it into first seems easier, but still harder than it should be. I took off the shifter, as advised before to see if the plasting ring at the bottom was broken, and I don't think I see one, but I'm also not exactly sure what I'm looking for. There's a plastic ring at the bottom of the shifter, but none down inside the hole that the stick fits into. Attached are some pictures of what I'm looking at. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The top of the shifter can be taken apart, factory there's a rubber seat the ball rides in, I've seen those go bad and the shifter gets really sloppy feeling and hard to shift. The end nub seems to hold up well, but while you're in the area you could replace it (it's a bugger to get off).

With the engine off, does the trans shift though the gears fairly easy, or is it the same issue? If it's easier with the engine off, maybe your clutch peddle is out of adjustment, and the clutch isn't fully disengaging (the flywheel is still spinning while you're trying to shift). There's an adjustment in the shaft for the clutch peddle, loosen the nut and turn the shaft to adjust (from memory atleast). The truck should start moving with the peddle off the floor a fair bit. My dad adjusted his about 1/2 way up. I have to adjust mine on my T100 yet, it's around 1/8-1/4 up and just barely is enough to not have the same problem you're having. With time as the clutch wears, the engagement sweet spot will be closer and closer to the floor.

Here's a link to an aftermarket part that worked well in my 96 Tacoma and a 1990 2wd pickup - https://www.marlincrawler.com/transm...avy-duty-seats
