I’ve been looking around for minute now and for the life of me I can’t find the decals pictured in the attached photos. So here I am hoping one of y’all can point me in the right direction.

 

Those don’t look like original 86 to me. They look custom

 

That looks like the 1987-1988 4WD SR5 stripe kit.

James Dean Creations has those, but I am unsure that he has the same coloring as in the picture: https://www.jamesdeancreations.com/1987-88.htm

 

My 1986 2WD SR5 X-cab had a different decal. It was a long stripe from the front fender into a wide zig-zag on the door, then a long stripe back to the rear. Didn't re-apply a new one when it was repainted. Like the clean no decal look.

Here's my 1987. The stickers in your picture do resemble something Toyota would have done, but they're slightly different than mine.

 

I found them! Maybe

i found a RC car with those exact stripes. But it wasn’t a 4Runner. The rc was a Surf.

ooh. interesting, you've got the "long stem" mirrors! what is the date yours was made? my '87 #1 has the short-stem mirrors, manufactured october 1986.
