Will the steering box from an 89 v6 4runner work in my 91 22re pickup?

 

I don't see why not, I have had both a 92 and a 95 steering box in mine. Not sure what years, but I did find out that some had different line pressures supplied by the pump, but they still work. Only possible issue is the steering shaft length, but I made mine work. But I believe that is an issue with 86-88 and 89-95 styles.
