Let me start by saying sorry i didn't make this a build up. I think it deserved it. Anyways let me tell you guys how i did it. Well, i started off by getting a tailgate out of a 2nd generation 4 runner. What i basically did was cut the back of my cab out and replaced it with the tailgate. I made some mounts and then had to make some panels to cover up the gaps since the tailgate was curved. To do this i got a door from my generation of pickup, and a door from a 2nd gen 4 runner. I cut sections out of them to match up the body lines on both the cab and the tailgate. Along with the cab i had to add panels to the bed to match the contour of the tailgate. I also had to cut out the floor since it didn't match up with the flat bottom of the tailgate because the stock floor on the passenger side had a big hump in it to go over the stock fuel tank. Along with the floor the stock gas tank had to go and i had to have a custom fuel cell made. After all of the i finished the welding up and sent it off to get many coats of body filler
And here's how it stands now...
here's the cab and bed gap that i used the panels off of the doors to make

the window in operation...

I don't have it completely sealed and weather proof yet, but I'm getting there

here's how it looks from the back

and here's the interior. You can see the figure of the tailgate

the floor and had to put in ( a little bit dirty
) haha

some pictures of it overall...
