Rear defrost in a pickup? Man that has got to be as rare as hen's teeth.

vent windows

from what i gathered in the footnotes in the brochures posted on that site, vent windows were part of a convenience pkg as an option for all models except those with power windows.

mirror move?

it's true, the mirrors are a little too close. if you have the small "paddle" mirrors, they really suck. i have the larger towing pkg mirrors with the bigger mount bracket which helps, but i still had to add a 3" convex mirror for the blind spot. i'd like to move them forward, but that will restrict the vent window's opening motion. i had considered putting them forward on the fender like japanese vehicles, so i could see them through the windshield.

maybe you could upgrade to larger tow mirrors and modify the mount to not block the vent, but still be closest to the edge of the door (without hitting the fender when door swings open)
