I am in Albuquerque NM 1300 miles from home and just pulled off highway for lunch to find terrible squeaking sound coming from the front of the engine. Oil pressure and temp are fine, it sounds like loose liquid being pumped around.

 

Loose liquid? What kind of squeak? We talking belt squeal or something worse?

Thanks Richard, I had my trucked towed a couple miles to the Toyota dealership. I really appreciate the offer. It is some sort of siezed pulley.

 

Anytime, if you need anything you have my number. Don't know what year and/or engine but if it's an 80's model 22re don't let them sell you a new pulley. I can buy the bearing for about 20$ and we'll install it for nothing so you can get home.
