Squeak coming from the front?

I have a very dry, metal on metal sound coming from the front. I assume it has to do with the front suspension compressing. I only hear it when I get out... you know, when the suspension extends. Since it's the winter and my window is up when I drive, I never here it then... but I would imagine that it is making noise then as well.

any ideas?

Is it when your flexed (as much as IFS can) or when your turning? Could be that your steering bump stops are worn (probably are anyways) or your hitting your bump stops when your suspension is in upward or downward travel. Get some greese and dab the bumpstops and see if that helps.

I have to dab some greese on the steering bumpstops every couple of months to not get metal on metal on full locked turns.

Push down on the corners, narrow it down. Or have someone else and get under there and look, listen.

check the swaybar endlinks (if you have one) Before I junked mine, it made a hell of a racket unless I lubed it.
