speedometer cable question

will a speedometer cable from a 3.slow work on my 22re? or do i need one from a 22re?
i found a 22re one from a 2wd... can i use a 2wd cable on my 4x4?

I wonder about lengths. the 4wd Speedo cable attaches behind the T case. The 2wd not being so endowed, would connect to the back of the transmission, closer to the bulkhead.

Or you can go to the dealer and save all the time wasted looking for one used that may or may not be good. This way you know its the right part the first time.

and DC, how much would it be at the dealer? unfortunately, i ran out of lube, so i dont think the dealer would be great....

lol, don't worry about it, the elipsis (three dots) in front was just to satisfy the forum's requirement of 5 characters to make a post, ie: you can't post up 2 letters or else an error message tells you the post is insufficient length.

Now, go get your speedo cable!
