Spare tire lift swap
I searched both here and 4crawler and couldn't find anything...
The spare tire lift on my '93 4Runner is absolutely rusted solid and holding the spare tire hostage!
I have found a rust free lift assembly off an '89 Pickup (for free!) I didn't ask if it was chain or cable type (which probably makes a difference, huh)
Mine goes at an angle (from the center of the truck to the driver's side), the pickup one goes straight in. Can I use it? Any custom fab or anything I need to be prepared for?
