He is a guy that has good feedback from people he deals with. I am not sure what all he sells but if you tell him a price range he will sit you up with stuff that will work together. I have read a few good thing on that amp but never ran one so.....

On the dual batts. I have mine in a Chevy one ton dually so no help there. Here is a blast from the past for me.

If you havent already put in a new head unit, i would strongly suggest it.
Going from a stock head unit to a new alpine was incredible.
Also, dont hack up the wiring, go to schucks/o'reilly and get a wiring harness adapter for your truck.
it'll be way more professional looking.

the wire adapters only look pro when you have the head unit out. do not wast your money on one. run the whole system yourself and dont worry about the small, old and stock wires making more of a hassle for you..

I had a huge problem when i installed my new head unit and it turned out to be the stock speaker wire..

I have a new Head Unit, that was the first thing that I did. Then I put 6.5's in the rear, and am working on sound proofing. It is all going along nicely, but I want the most amount of bang for my buck. I have around 700-800 to spend. I didnt think that was to low, I might be able to spend more. Can I get a good set up for that?

So what is that story? What went wrong with the stock speaker wire?

not sure, but guessing it was grounding out somewhere after the front door. after installing the head unit with an adapter i assumed it would be good. wrong.
when i would turn my truck on, i would have to switch on the a/c or flash the headlights for the radio to turn on, then it would go into standby if i added too much bass or turned it up too loud. so i ran my own ground to the chassis, ran a new 14 guage constant, and still the same thing. got mad and started cutting speaker wires to run new ones and after cutting the rear speaker wires i noticed the radio worked when i turned the ignition on. checked the speaker wire all the way to the door jam and said it! just pulled the old out and ran new speaker wire. problem gone, and it sounds way better then it did when it would work... wow, im getting pissed just thinking about it..

man. I could design you an entire system that would blow away anyones system for 700 bucks haha. I have 40 bucks in my system and I can do 153 on a term-lab haha. No joke. If you know what your doing you can get the most out of your system and really pound your truck to peices.

As far as the sub and amp go I would say to get the 12" Kicker L7 and at least a 1000 watt amp. I had the L7 with a Kenwood 1800 watt amp and it was dope, but it got jacked from me . you could wire it up your self its easy, putting speakers in the doors will be a little harder but you can DIY. plus the L7 just looks sick, damn just talking about it I might have to get another one...

the kicker L7 is a beast of a sub. one 12 is more than enough! i have 2 12's and its a maybe a mild system. i have 6.5' TMA speakers in the rear and 4' infinites in the front and a 100 watt amp to push them. its a good system. people hear me from a couple blocks away but its good sound quality, it doesnt sound like crap. im going to upgrade the TMAs to probably alpine type Rs cuz one is blown lol ive put about $400 into it. i already had thw subs and ported box. all i bought were the speakers, amps, and installation.

So, basically I got on the phone with the guy that Donsway had told me about. He is a great guy, and totally works around what budget you give him. So does anyone know about atomic? It is really supposed to be legit. It has turned from 750 to 900 shipped now but it seems like I am getting a better deal. Any input?

Well, for 900 I was getting two 15 inch Atomic Manhattans, 1 audiopipe 1000rms amp, a 4 gauge wire kit, and a kinetik 600 amp battery thingy. I think its going to be a good setup, but im almost afraid its going to be to much.

15s!!! Cool. Really think you are going to like it. I don't know that there is such a thing as too much. How old are you? I am 38 and have yet to hit the too much mark, but am trying hard. It is ALWAYS better to have it to where you are happy with the sound without having to max it out to do it. Will last longer that way.

Too much.....ah hell.

well it depends on what kind of music you listen too on the size of subs you wanna get. if you listen to rap or something that has alot of bass then 15's are cool but if you listen to metal or rock then 10's will sufffice cus they will hit harder with the drums p[lus i wouldnt go more than half the power of the subs with the amp. i had a system with 2 10 jensen subs and it was perfect for metal but that was along time ago and i know jenesen doesnt make aqny thing good anymore. memphis audio is the best for metal though
